What's this? A charismatic young Democrat presidential candidate who loves America and doesn't want to destroy it? And is a woman? And a veteran? WTF I can't believe it!

She's also a member of teh CFR, likely a controlled opposition.

No doubt.

And in a cult: Investigative Series on the Science of Identity Sect and Tulsi Gabbard /s/politics/comments/anu/investigative_series_on_the_science_of_identity

I still like her a lot but I still like Andrew Yang and Jill Stein better.

Just a style note, people typically do single quotes when quoting something inside double quotes. "'Like this' said magnora"

If it were me though, I'd lose the outer title quotes altogether because every title is kind of implied to be a quote of the original title, and less clutter the better, just my 2 cents.

Good to know about the inside quotes. Didn't know that. I do edit the title on rare occasions. ie recent Andrew Yang posts

So less clutter over clarity?

I'll think about it. I'd jump at the opportunity to drop them if I could italicize the title. I don't know if that's difficult or not, but it sure would help a lot. Bold might be nice on occasion too.

Ah yeah, less clutter leads to more clarity I think. If it were me, I'd lose the quotes altogether and replace the 'by' with a thick dash like — this. That's more typical headline styles. There's no italics or bold in headlines. It's kind of arbitrary though, but you are the only one who puts quotes around a headline title :P

But could you add italics? (and bold)

I'm the only one anal enough to be accurate.

I'm the only one anal enough to be accurate.

Do you honestly think that's a true statement? It seems more you've invented your own style guide that you see as above the standard one... it's not more accurate, just more cluttered imo

I was joking. I don't usually consider anal to be complimentary.

But I was trying to be accurate and making up for the lack of italics as best I could, and consistent. I also see a LOT of posts and I can't tell if they are the titles of the article or media or if it's commentary, or what.

Sorry, it's extremely hard to tell when you are joking and when you aren't. You should check out how I style my articles, I think it's a more standard newspaper format that people can digest easily while still being accurate.

d3rr added emojis. I should learn to use them more too. :)

What do you think of "~" for "by"?

Do you prefer the sources be left off?

And no dates?

Maybe I'm taking this too litteraly: "You are submitting a link. The key to a successful submission is interesting content and a descriptive title."

Would be great if you could add italics.

Like ideally (I think) the OP headline for instance would be:

"We should all be relieved" says Tulsi on Mueller report - Non Mirage Truth vision

Maybe leave the date off for things older than a month, all being relatively current?

But older stuff gets staler and really ought to be dated IMHO.

What do you think about notes and comments? I often add descriptors and try to keep the opinions for comment section, but sometimes feel it's worth putting up front.
