Yeah, it's definitely riddled with hyperbole.

But you also, Arkansas is not exactly lush with tropical rain forests like much of Hawaii is. I think this might contribute to that distinction. You have plenty of trees, but not the broadleaf lush sort of trees that these kinds of ants thrive in to the point that they really do rain down on you on hiking trails.

I live in California. We have fire ants here too and they definitely can be a bother. There is one spot in particular on my typical exercise root where I tend to get bitten by them.

But I also visited Hawaii at least once a year every year from 1992-2012 and lived there for 6 months in 2015. Then have visited several more times since there. My Great Grandparents lived in Hawaii and my wife's mom was born and raised there, so we visit her grandparents there every year or two. So I have seen this infestation happen first hand. Even though there is exaggeration, it really is pretty bad.

Hawaii is not like continental US. The ecosystem is more delicate. It genuinely was something of a paradise precisely because of how safe almost everything native was. There were almost no venomous insects or snakes, almost no poisonous plants, the most terrifying prey animals on land were the wild boar which are also comparatively small to boar we have here on the mainland. The temperatures are pretty much always perfect, you never get too hot or too cold even in the winter while raining if you are naked, unless you are on one of the mountains, temperatures are usually in the high 60s to low 70s.

Native Hawaiian ants were subject to a similar shrinking effect to pigmeys they are no match for the fire ants that are making quick work of them.

I don't know I could go on, but you get the point. I'm no tree-hugger, and I think people like Jason Mamoa over exaggerate these things. But, we really are losing something by having these invasive species.

You made some effort to describe Hawaii and its ecosystem and I appreciate that. I have not been there. But I have been to California on a business trip and I enjoyed my week there. I believe you, and the author of the article, that fire ants are a pest and a problem for Hawaii. I did not understand how ants fall from the air like rain. You seem to imply they fall off the trees. The way you describe Hawaii, it sounds like it was a paradise. They do have their problems, though, don't they, like the volcanoes... and they were attacked by something else raining down: bombs and airplanes. More surprise attacks are on the way, but not only for Hawaii.

You seem to imply they fall off the trees. On HIKING trails. I think the author specified that as well. But yeah in hiking trails there are big broad leaf trees over you, often with ant-edible material all over them. So the ants go up to get food then the wind picks up and the fall down from the trees onto you, usually along with some water droplets that were on the plants. It's happened to me a few times.

But all I meant about it being a paradise is the climate and ecosystem. The big island definitely still has an active volcano on it. The other islands don't most people live on Oahu, Maui is probably the second biggest, but there isn't that much work out there except tourism and things that support tourist industries.

Also, not sure what I just watched but I LOVED early Royksopp in the beginning.

Well, that was a more descriptive explanation for how the ants could rain down.

Your ear correctly identified the beginning audio. (Röyksopp - Remind Me) But what did you watch? What did your eyes see? Do you believe that history has a tendency to repeat itself?

I saw a bunch of WW2 and some Korean War footage, then part of an SNL skit featuring the profoundly unfunny Amy Shumer as Marry Todd telling Abraham Lincoln she had a bad feeling about the play where Lincoln would later be assassinated. Then a news report about the Nimitz Class USS Abraham Lincoln being transferred from Hawaii to San Diego which is where it currently is, in fact my brother was just on that ship 4 days ago to watch a basketball game of Gonzaga University vs Michigan State. Then it cut back to that skit, inter cut with what I THINK was Birth of a Nation, but it's been a while since I've seen that movie all I could tell is it's a black and white movie with Abraham Lincoln at "Our American Cousin" again, then it played some video from the Michael Bay movie "Pearl Harbor", then it cut to another different SNL skit where Abraham Lincoln is being an obnoxious theater goer which hints at that's why he was shot. Then I saw a quote about evil and Ephesians 5.

I do think that history has a tendency to rhyme more than repeat itself. I don't think it's often exactly the same and I also think our brains are wired for pattern recognition which makes us see patterns in things that aren't really that significant.

Sorry if that's not what you were looking for, I just don't think I'm seeing what you want me to see. Is there some association between Pearl Harbor and Abraham Lincoln you are wanting me to see? Is it just that the carrier named the "USS Abraham Lincoln" was briefly moored at Pearl Harbor?

You made a detailed report of what you saw. There are no coincidences, so I believe God caused our paths to cross. I am amazed that your brother was on the USS Abraham Lincoln to watch a basketball game. I did not know that people watch basketball games on the navy ships, but I guess the leaders use worldly diversions to keep morale up as we enter World War III. If the young military people knew the death and destruction that is coming, they would get out while they could. Games help keep them asleep until it is too late to change course. It is like the attack on Pearl Harbor, where many were completely taken by surprise. If they had known the attack was coming, they would have prepared. God has revealed in prophetic messages that the vessel that your brother was on shall suffer its name's sake. Same for the USS Ronald Reagan. This is not a good time to be on either vessel. It is not a good time to be distant from Jesus, our Savior. I hope you and your family repent and stay safe.

If you do not believe this warning is from God, then consider: If people of a previous generation were warned from God that Pearl Harbor would be attacked, neither would most believe. But now you have been told, so when you see it come to pass, you might believe.

Thank you so much for your message and warning. I will not take them lightly. If the Lincoln is sunk in anything approaching a similar attack to Pearl Harbor in the next year or so, that would definitely be enough to make me start to believe. Nimitz class aircraft carriers are very difficult to sink and a carrier harbored in San Diego, across the largest ocean on the planet with satellite imaging and Hawaii as a halfway point, this would be a very impressive feat to the point I wouldn't at all be surprised God would warn some about it.

The Regan being sunk, or at least attacked in the near future would not surprise me that much on the other hand. It's stationed in Japan at the moment and would be a prime target for both China and North Korea and would be the first step for both countries in preventing retaliation against any other form of attack they may be planning. I am definitely in agreement that WWIII is looming on the horizon. As hard as the Nimitz class ships are to sink, I think they are in a very high risk position.

If you don't mind me asking, in which way has God revealed this in prophetic messages? Was it through videos like the one you shared with me? Does god fill you with understanding when you see them?

Anyways thank you again! I don't know if I am qualified to make this judgment but you are a good Christian. Trying to save others without resorting to self righteousness or violating the advice of Matthews 6:5.

Your testimony regarding the Nimitz class being heavily guarded will make it even more impressive when the USS Abraham Lincoln is sunk, although I take no pleasure in the deaths and injuries that will accompany that attack.

I agree with you that China and North Korea are adversaries to the US military. North Korea would be easily destroyed by the USA, but not so with China. The USA will not be able to defend itself against China and Russia.

God is speaking to his people all over the earth. He speaks to each of us in different ways. And I include you in this. He speaks to you, but how you perceive that is up to you. He said in the last days he would pour out his spirit on all flesh, and the people will prophesy, see dreams, and see visions. Some of God's messengers publicly post their prophetic messages. Not everyone who claims to hear from God is telling the truth, so with everything you hear, you could pray to God directly and ask him to protect your mind from the lies and to reveal the truth. Jesus promises that those that ask, receive.

Here is a short video which has the voice of one messenger with a prophetic message, and another reference to Abraham Lincoln, which we were discussing:

Saidit - Shall the Seas Not Boil?

Remember that America had a civil war during the presidency of Abraham Lincoln, and we are entering the next civil war, which will weaken the USA even more, softening it for an attack from its enemies.
