their deaths must not be forgotten and must be avenged.
'Avenged', or brought to 'justice'? Words mean a lot: how do we go about this "vengeance" without looking like the people we are after?
Do we send an Army if the local government wont do anything?
Do we hire mercenaries?
Do we ask Congress, or do we superseded our Constitution, again?
Can we effectively shame people that are not in your society?
To me, that line of the article I highlighted just seems like a call for interventionism.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the feeling I'm getting from my countrymen is that...
... WE ARE TIRED OF KILLING FOR OTHERS!
