This is so unfair to women. No one gives a shit if you're "legally" a woman. Still a fucking dude.

Yeah, and McKinnon is a particularly unpleasant piece of work. He was nothing in cycling until he decided that he's a woman, at which point a fairly tubby guy, at the latter end of the age range for competitions, suddenly became competitive. Just look up some photos of him standing with his fellow cyclists. Here's a good example: https://keyassets.timeincuk.net/inspirewp/live/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2018/10/Mckinnon.jpg

One of these things is not like the others. The height alone stands out, but look a the physical condition of McKinnon compared to the women. They look fit. They look like people who train hard for their sport. He looks look like some average guy who wandered over for a photo. The legs on those women are the legs of athletes. His are the legs of the guy from accounts payable who hits the gym a couple of times per week. I went off on a bit of a tangent there. Why's he shit?

He's shit because he gloats over his victories. He seems to take a perverse pleasure in defeating women. It'd be like watching a normal guy win a game of chess against a kid with Down's syndrome, then getting in the face of the kid to yell 'I crushed you, worm!' McKinnon is a bad winner and he's competing in a class never meant for men. I'm guessing that he harbours bitterness towards women because he knows he's not a woman and never will be.

The fact that he is in horrible condition and looks like a weekend warrior with a 12 pack a day habit just makes this so much worse. He's not even in shape!

[–]Trajan 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah, he’s not even trying. His academic work is of a similar standard.

I’m not a particularly fit guy. I do some running and very occasional weights. Even so, just by virtue of my biology I could drop in to most sports and do pretty well against women who train each day. Most men could do the same.

McKinnon and his fellow cultists want to ruin women’s sports for their cult and for their self-aggrandisement.

Cue Karen font : "Excuse me but I find your biological observations relative to the athletic character of those cyclists' legs to be extremely offensive, and it seems like you should review your stereotypical criteria which define what an "athlete" is in your mind. Just because an athlete is overweight and has little muscle mass dos not mean they are not valid.
If McKinnon identifies as an athlete, he should be seen as one. Refusing to grant him this is bigotry and might drive him to suicide. Is that what you want ?? "

I think I'm getting the hang of this.

Holy shit this gave me info I did not previously have. So if you're a woman with unusually high testosterone you're at about 2.7nm/L but the rules for trans women is that you have to be under 10?!?! That's a huge difference between rare levels found in females and what's just blindly accepted coming in as trans.

Not only that but this article suggests that even with hormone suppression, any muscle advantages and bone structure will essentially stay in place. (It is my uneducated guess here that if the trans person has gone through puberty as a male then the advantages will be there.)

This is some crazy shit.

Looking into the rules and regulations regarding women's sports and the "intersex" atheletes who have obliterated their competition was eye opening. How it is not regarded as cheating is beyond me. At least the powerlifting organization has come to their senses.

I got permabanned from a sub on Reddit for pointing this out. I'm going to laugh when women's sports are dead in 5-10 years

[–]Trajan 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

This kind of nonsense might actually help put identity politics back in its box. Normal people can see these are men out there, beating women and even physically hurting them. Combined with the push to troon children or overtly sexual use them, we may finally see a big enough backlash. The recent BLM riots will also help if people begin to see the threads common to BLM, LGBT, and feminism.

[–]bellatrixbells 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It might be an "uneducated guess" but it's still right. Of course those advantages are still there ! Being educated about a subject is one thing, but that pertains to common sense.

I find stories like this very funny because they hit right at the core of the leftist liberal values and their hypocrisy.

[–]fuck-reddit-forever 8 insightful - 3 fun8 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

I think the Left is just trying to end all sports, so they keep fucking up every sport that they can.

This puts a lot of feminists in a tough spot, too, even though portions of the feminist circles oppose the transgender trend. Here is the issue:

A lot of cries about alleged discrimination is based on the belief that there are no inherent differences between men and women. Therefor, differences in outcome are rooted in discrimination. Now, however, if those same feminists are forced to say that it is unfair for women to compare against transgendered men, then they also have to admit that their logic about discrimination is faulty.

I actually like seeing how this is playing out. It's one set of hypocrites against another set. I am loving it. From what I understand, that is the position of those radfems. They crow about discrimination but cannot be confronted with the inevitable conclusion.

[–]LadyKnight151 8 insightful - 3 fun8 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

I don't particularly like agreeing with any feminists, but the TERFs are on the right side of this issue here

[–][deleted] 8 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Yes, THIS issue. Absolutely. But they are wrong on many other things. Most of all, they are wrong on issues that I believe have opened the flood gates for the transgenderism to even take hold in society, if I understand their position correctly on social constructionism. Of course they are right on TiMs being male. You need to be indoctrinated into some cult - or have attended an average western university - to be this delusional about human biology. But they refuse to then look inwards to see the contradictions in their own ideology that this same faulty reasoning about biology stemmed from. They allege that TiMs competing against women is unfair, and that is true. But they refuse to then also revise their positions on alleging discrimination against women in every social arena where there are disparities in outcome. This was basically the central contention in such recent debates as Jordan Peterson with Cathy Newman. I am being told that I am bringing up the same old arguments, which must be true, because the same old arguments still show up the faulty reasoning on those ideologies. Women and men are not socially constructed. They differ in many ways, and even if we treat them fairly, there will be differences in outcome, without it being unfair necessarily. They also cling on to their narrative of oppression based on superficial disparities of outcome. They see the greater levels of authority men had historically but they refuse to acknowledge the greater burden. These are obvious discrepancies, which remain without a good answer from its proponents, so I'm sure they keep hearing the same arguments. But they will have to retreat to ever more remote hug boxes until they confront those contradictions, as evidenced by the censorship in their communities on Reddit, as evidenced by their censorship here. Many people who now oppose transgenderism laid the ideological frameworks for this identitarinism and the social constructionism, the tabula rasa nonsense. That was their entire basis for claiming proof of sex based discrimination on the basis of disparity of outcome.

I hear the same people who are abhorred by the chaos wrought by the transgender movement tout the belief that the brains of men and women are the same, for example. There are fundamental differences from an early age. They still try to deny gender differences, but they are forced to admit the unfairness of athletic competition between TiMs and women. Many of them are smarter than this and have since changed their position, but there is always a remaining contingency of people who apparently cannot wrap their head around how these positions are contradictory.

I believe that they react emotionally. Their fear is that, if they acknowledge gender differences, that this will also give rise to and validate gender essentialism, which I do not think is true. We can acknowledge biological differences between men and women, while also giving women the liberty of going beyond the traditional constraints imposed by nature of their gender -- as was men's. There is a biological and a social component to what it means to be a woman. Ideological opponents will currently either side on one extreme or the other, which is why there has been this protracted stalemate in public discourse for so long. Professionals most knowledgeable are too cowardly to take a position that might be considered politically incorrect so it is up to the community leaders of those activist groups to talk sense into their constituents -- which they refuse to do, as we can see on full display here.

They made their bed, now they have to lie in it. Until they iron out their own inconsistencies, they will not have the solidity of foundation to confront the same type of hipocrisy in their opponents.

Great post. Feminists who continue to look for external causes of this problem would do well to read the post, examine their own beliefs, and find effective ways to push back. They’d have far more allies if they weren’t holding on to social constructionist ideas and the patently false belief that the forces of patriarchy should be invoked whenever women aren’t on top.

[–]joeytundra 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

you like seeing women bullied...ALL women? Did a woman turn you down :( Sucks to be you bro. Maybe if you hated women less, they'd like you more.

[–]Trajan 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah. The big problem for feminists to face is the social constructionist argument, so commonly used by feminists to explain gender differences, is being used here. Rather than address this, they try to blame this on men as a class or patriarchy.

It’s nonsense. Intersectionality isn’t something that was imposed externally. It arose out of feminism and related ideologies.

How did women make this bed? This impacts all women and girls ...not just the ones you hate. Oh wait you probably hate all females..no homo though.

[–]RuinedRook 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

You're right. Men should shoulder just as much of the blame since we stood be while our women were indoctrinated. I just find it funny watching feminism eat itself because it's created this monster (of men pretending they're women). Who would have thought extreme individualism and diversityTM could have led us to this point!

[–]joeytundra 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Feminists aren't the ones in control of LGBT, HRC, GLAAD etc.. I wouldn't be surprised if men's rights activism wasn't filled with gay men that want to complete the gay revolutionary plan. They scoffed at it as just 'satire' written in the 80's but if that's true then why has much of it come to pass? In this scenario, they think only men that are homosexual should be rewarded. What do you think is going to go up when all the statues come down? Just read this...it reveals what's up. https://sourcebooks.fordham.edu/pwh/swift1.asp Even the churches have been infiltrated. Lesbians were just added to the mix not because gay men like them but just for numbers. You can read that when you look up Gay Manifesto http://library.gayhomeland.org/0006/EN/A_Gay_Manifesto.htm

It's time for men to wake up and stop allowing ourselves to be groomed by effeminizing techniques found in cartoon porn and woman bashing circles. We need to start calling out toxic behavior in video games. Defending a woman being bullied is not being a "white knight"..a shaming word used to shame men into submission so we give up on our role as the male. This whole program is filled with manipulation and it has an agenda against family and tearing men and women apart to leave the children more vulnerable. Now who benefits off of that? You know who.

[–]joeytundra 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Oh and I do agree about mainstream feminism but if you look at their actions, those women are being indoctrinated by Marxists and it has nothing to do with betterment of women. Intersectionality waters down movements. Anything to the left currently is filled with Marxist and communist indoctrination.

So you think a little 12 year old girl that was raped by her brother should be killed to restore honor to their family?

    [–]bellatrixbells 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

"All my medical records say female,” McKinnon said. “My doctor treats me as a female person, my racing license says female, but people who oppose my existence still want to think of me as male. " Two things here : if your GP treats you as a female, then you're in deep shit and at this point I kinda wishing a prostate cancer on you.

Second : WHAT IS IT WITH THE **** SLIPPERY SLOPE OF "dEnYiNg i'M fEmALe=dEnYiNg My ExiStEnCe". McKinnon is supposed to be a philosophy teacher, how does he not know this is the quintessence of a slippery slope ???? I had this convo with one of them the other day and he told me I was using weasel words when I brought this up. Some people sound like they have no concept of what words are and what they're for.

Oh yes...blame it on feminists. I'm sure the orgs like HRC, LGBT, Stonewall UK always put feminists first ..the ones really pushing for this. Why do you hate women having rights? Does a woman's right to vote make you feel like less of a man? Only soy boys feel slighted by women. I'm going to bet you still live with your mom.
