It's an interesting discussion. If, with crazy advanced surgery, you could change a male into a female in almost every conceivable way except the XY chromosome is preserved and they are infertile, is it still a male?

It's not possible to change sex. A eunuch is still Male.

I'm more or less on your side but can't we get a little transhumanist here? If future technology allowed a man to change his body to the exact dimensions of a woman, with female hormones, vagina, uterus, ovaries, fertility, facial structure, body structure, etc. and is in ever way indiscernible from a woman, is that person still a man? IMO maybe they are not a woman, but sure as hell are not a man

But they wouldn't be indiscernible from a woman. Male socialisation and decades of experiences as a man don't evaporate just because someone has surgery. Womanhood isn't just about what you look like.

You might just as well ask if it's possible for a human being to become a camel. It might be possible at some future point to alter a human being to the point that they are physically identical to a real camel, but would a human being truly think and feel and behave the way a camel does?
