To quote my husband.

"That's a bloke".

He was quite disgusted watching Mouncey body check the women and asked what the hell was wrong with him ploughing into women, after he had already broken one woman's leg in football.

Sodding great lump of male ego and AGP.

Man denied access to women's locker room. Good.

One look at that giant guy, how could anyone with 1/2 a brain call him a woman?

Glad they did this, I pray for biological sanity to return to the world.

I want to sympathize with these people but it just seems so manipulative. "I just want to be happy like everyone else" -- okay, cool. If a serial killer said that, would we just have to accept it? No. Hannah Mouncey hasn't even fully transitioned, she is still very much a man. I don't think she has malicious intentions but the problem is that we have to blindly give into their delusion, which helps no one. If Hannah wants to wear dresses and frilly clothing, go ahead. But she doesn't have a place in women's sports. It's not fucking fair, and I don't even understand why this is up for discussion.

I don't think all trans people have bad intentions, but I DO think every single male who enters female sports under the guise of transgenderism has bad intentions. They are all narcissists and bullies, with such pitifully low courage and decency that they pat themselves on the back for stealing accomplishments and opportunities from actual females, all while whining that the actual females should be forced to shower and change in front of the fetishistic males.

Read that quote from Mouncey : 'And the reason I'm not liked is because I told our manager, and by extension those players, exactly where he and they could go in trying to tell me where I could change and shower.' And now this : "Some of the very same people who were saying it was bullshit that I couldn’t play AFL Women’s league were some of the same voices within the team who were trying to dictate where I could shower and change. While those people then were supposedly in my corner as I fought the AFL, they were more than able to justify their own position about me to themselves because in their minds “they aren’t like those people, this is a reasonable thing to expect”.

This is going to happen over and over, and eventually you become very comfortable in saying no to people, regardless of how forceful you need to be. "

In short, it is okay for him to be forceful and say no to women's personal boundaries and sense of safety until we let him in our sports and intimacies regardless of how uneasy we feel. It's okay because he is being "true to himself" by claiming to be a woman and therefore any woman who objects is an opponent to be beat. Are you sure this person has no malicious intents ?

You want to sympathize because you've been programmed to. It's how society keeps women in their place. Don't feel bad about being unable to sympathize with men who want to use you and abuse you. Transwomen just use women to gratify themselves, they do not care about us.

[–]yishengqingwa666 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

He. That is a man.

Men are not any kind of woman, no matter how much hormones they ingest or mutilating surgery they get done to themselves.

Here's my idea. We separate locker rooms, and bathrooms by what you have.

PENIS, and NO PENIS. We don't care if you're a man, or woman.

[–]Trajan 30 insightful - 8 fun30 insightful - 7 fun31 insightful - 8 fun -  (6 children)

Male, female, and disabled. Disabled toilets are typically gender neutral, and a grown man thinking he’s a woman seems pretty mentally disabled to me.

[–]lmaonope333 11 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

if it's a multiple person disabled room then disabled women won't be safe from trans identifying males

[–]Trajan 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

They tend to be single-occupancy facilities. Where there is no such option I’d suggest we go by biological sex rather than what somebody thinks they are. I might identify as a child, but that doesn’t mean I should be allowed in the ball pen.

[–][deleted] 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

TRAS are hard at work trying to convince everyone that there is no such thing as biological sex. It’s all about gender stereotypes and self-identity for them.

He is 100% male. I don’t care what he identifies as. I have grown to hate the word identity.

I'm of the opinion that the Japanese have the right idea about this.

    No dick. Not a guy.

If they want to switch they know what surgery to do. A simple solution to a simple question. This isn't rocket science.

    [–]jonesforme2 34 insightful - 5 fun34 insightful - 4 fun35 insightful - 5 fun -  (14 children)

Even with the inverted dick they are a guy.

    [–]Cindy 2 insightful - 4 fun2 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 4 fun -  (13 children)

It's an interesting discussion. If, with crazy advanced surgery, you could change a male into a female in almost every conceivable way except the XY chromosome is preserved and they are infertile, is it still a male?

    [–]Susiesmum[S] 13 insightful - 1 fun13 insightful - 0 fun14 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

It's not possible to change sex. A eunuch is still Male.

    [–]Cindy 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I'm more or less on your side but can't we get a little transhumanist here? If future technology allowed a man to change his body to the exact dimensions of a woman, with female hormones, vagina, uterus, ovaries, fertility, facial structure, body structure, etc. and is in ever way indiscernible from a woman, is that person still a man? IMO maybe they are not a woman, but sure as hell are not a man

    [–]Susiesmum[S] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

But they wouldn't be indiscernible from a woman. Male socialisation and decades of experiences as a man don't evaporate just because someone has surgery. Womanhood isn't just about what you look like.

You might just as well ask if it's possible for a human being to become a camel. It might be possible at some future point to alter a human being to the point that they are physically identical to a real camel, but would a human being truly think and feel and behave the way a camel does?

    [–]yishengqingwa666 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

    That will never happen.

    [–]Uranian 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Yes, they are still male because of that Y chromosome, but without a dick/balls, there might be a more reasonable argument for such a person to be accommodated in female locker rooms. This fella though - no way.

    [–]Realwoman 13 insightful - 1 fun13 insightful - 0 fun14 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Not in sports though. Even after your dick and balls get removed, if you're a man, you still retain many advantages thanks to both prenatal exposure to testosterone and male puberty.

    [–]yishengqingwa666 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

No males in female spaces, no matter how much hormones they ingest or how much surgery they have done.

    [–]Catbug 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Doesn’t matter how much you mangle the dick or how blow-up doll you make the face look. Sex is permanent and unchangeable.

    [–]MenAreFragileBabies 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

It's still a guy. We are socialized based on our biology as kids. You can't change all that socialization from a young age. People will always know whether you are male or female based on how you behave, no matter what you do to your body.

That's why it's so important not to socialize kids into gender stereotypes. You are literally crippling your girl children for the rest of their lives. Boys are socialized badly too, to ignore feelings and boundaries, to be violent, etc. We hurt our kids so much by shoehorning them into these roles.

Biology only matters because we make it so meaningful. It shouldn't be that important. The only way to make it less important though is to stop with all the gendering, trans ideology is 100% wrong on this bc they want MORE gendering.

    [–]yishengqingwa666 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yes. Males cannot become female. Ever.

    [–]arc-en-ciel 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

It unfortunately doesn't usually make sense when trying to conserve space, but I wish most change rooms and washrooms were all single stall. Not only would it make the whole gender washroom debate irrelevant, but you wouldn't have to listen to other people shitting. Best of both worlds.

    [–]teelo 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

but you wouldn't have to listen to other people shitting

You still have to even with stalls. They block vision, they're not sound-proof :(

Have you heard of Fallon Fox? https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1573044-ufc-joe-rogan-to-transgender-mma-fighter-fallon-fox-youre-a-man Unfortunately, transgendered men are allowed to fight women in some sports.

"And the reason I'm not liked is because I told our manager, and by extension those players, exactly where he and they could go in trying to tell me where I could change and shower."

Well, he can go in the men's room and they can go in the women's room ? So basically this huge man who makes no effort to "pass" besides sporting the haircut of the violent guy in Bon Jovi's Always video... is pissed off and making the news because he won't have women tell him they won't strip down in front of them.
      That's literally what's happening.

He is telling women to fuck off because they refuse to undress next to him, and is hoping bringing this to the media will help him.

The entitlement is wrong on this one.

From one of the comments on the article, someone points out that the team's feelings on the matter outweigh the individual.

      "Majority rules"

It seems everything these days is being done to the exclusion of the majority's will. Why? Did democracy die?
