This happens to all of them. There was some man who stole a tank from a National Guard armory and drove it around until he found the only tank trap for miles. The Killdozer caved in a floor and found itself stuck in the basement. German tanks in Stalingrad often did the same. The other guy got high-centered on a highway divider and took the treads away from the ground.
All either of them had to do was avoid the extremely rare tank traps in America and all of them managed to find one.
