I feel sorry for this village, but I couldnt help but laugh because it is like a scene from Borat.

I've been to Romania and that's what 90% of it is like. It's very rural, ramshackle and naive in its own way.

This comedy doesn't come out of nowhere.

One of my favourite news stories, which I still remember after decades, is that when viagra came out in Romania a pensioner spent his whole life savings on 2 pills and 2 prostitutes. He took the pills, lay down on the bed then fell asleep.

For as angry as Jews get by being labeled as liars and manipulators, Sacha Baron Cohen is single handedly feeding the the "Jews are lying pieces of shit" narrative.

It's such cheap and transparent playbook.

  1. go to location of people you hate
  2. film everything
  3. cut out all the parts that make you look bad
  4. emphasize all the parts that make the people you hate look bad
  5. $$$

For one of his films, Cohen dressed up as a flaming faggot and went to a holy site in Israel, and his fellow Jews started beating him up, thinking he was some degenerate tourist desecrating the site. He had to break character and tell them it wasn't real. That he was actually hoping to egg-on Muslims in the area to insult him, or say something "bigoted".

Naturally, none of that made it into his "movie".
