I'm proud and happy that I could be part of all that through Anonymous. You will never meet us or know any of our names but just be glad to know that there are still thousands of people left in the world who are willing to risk everything to take action for the greater good.

You were part of Anonymous? You mean the LulzSec group or were you in some other group?

Anonymous, yes. LulsSec was a separate rogue group comprised mostly of idiot 12 YOs who thought they were hackers but were just a bunch of know nothing kids. Part of being part of the Arab spring was using my internet and phone services to be part of a Bridge that allowed Egypt to have Internet access to the outside world when the government cut it off. That was my part in it; helping the Egyptians to have Internet access to the outside world so they could show the whole world what was going on there.

Ah, so you're a Tor enthusiast? Sorry to inform you but I am not a fan of Tor. I do think it's cool that you got to help people.

No, I'm not now nor have I ever been a fan of Tor. Using an ordinary VPN was sufficient for what I needed to do. Like you, I'm not a big fan of Tor, either, but then, again, the Dark Web isn't what the sensationalists would have you believe. Altogether it's a really boring place full of really boring scientific web pages, private clubs and what have you. I don't know how many drug dealers or kiddie porn sites (cringe) are on it since I never searched for any of that shit.
