If you must protest, do it with purpose and an end goal... TAKE BACK THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION. If you want a brilliant example in a good documentary, check out "The Take" a 2004 film about an Argentinian protest taking over a factory to form a worker cooperative.

"The Take is a Canadian documentary film released in 2004 by the wife and husband team of Naomi Klein and Avi Lewis. It tells the story of workers in Buenos Aires, Argentina who reclaim control of a closed Forja auto plant where they once worked and turn it into a worker cooperative." [I don't recall it being an auto plant - but it's been a long time.]
Wikipedia: The Take (2004 film)
"The film in not about auto-parts workers in suburban Buenos Aires, but about workers of a ceramic floors factory in Neuquen, several hundred miles southward, in Argentinian Patagonia."
