I didn't know a few of these, like "Yeens", but 'at's pro'ly 'cause 'ey're regional. I can't find another source for it, though, so maybe that'n's fake? I ain't never heard nobody say it.

What about mess as in, "He ate himself a mess of shrimp." Meaning: much or many.

Done: Used to form a two-word verb (done + gerund) as in: "Are you done eatin'? Meaning: finished.

Thanks. Made me feel like home.

At least Merriam-Webster lists it as a possible meanin. Maybe it ain't specifically Southern, so they didn't include it? I ain't really heard that'n used very much anyways.

I've heard Yankees say that'n, but so'm 'at's pertty Southern is sayin, "I done did that." Adding a second word that means the same thing is just about as Southern as biscuits n gravy.

Thanks. Made me feel like home.
