Step 1: Take a beloved and well respected franchise.

Step 2: Race/genderswap the main character.

Step 3: Make sure the villain is a white male.

Step 4: Create cheap live action version of beloved franchise.

Step 5: Call your fans bigots for ratioing the official trailer.

Step 6: Watch your revenue dip and artificially inflate ticket sales with empty cinemas.

Step 7: Fire 7000 crunching VFX artists.

Step 8: Repeat.

I'm so sick of them being to lazy to make their own. They just take an old classic and race/genderswap. In a way that makes the story hard to believe. Like when a 15 year old girl with no training or special powers. Wrecks a whole crew of hardened criminals. When in reality she wouldn't last 10 seconds even if she tried to run away.

It's really bad. They are already remaking movies that are barely out.
