The EU has done something good for a change. The G in 5G stands for genocide. [In fact, it's not the EU but the city of Brussels that stopped 5G. My bad.]

The G in 5G actually stands for literally nothing (OK it stands for "Generation" which, again, doesn't actually mean anything besides "new thing") It's a marketing term. If you're going to call relatively harmless frequencies of light "genocide" then start with the one thing that causes cancer, fire, heatstroke, and will literally make your skin boil if you stood in its light for more than a few hours without protection: The SUN. Don't leap off the deep end and act as if the signal from your cellphone (something nearly everyone carries with them pretty much all day every day, without any protection whatsoever) is going to have any effect.

Don't even bring up the court case in england. There's a controversy, but I have yet to find any source or actual physical evidence of the lamps containing 5g transmitters. This is all based off of a single persons opinion. I've read 3 articles about this and NONE have stated or showed any proof of this man's claims. If I had more time I'd see if I can find some, but right now it seems like there's none. The second I actually see some proof I'll eat my words, but I'm not just going to accept some dude's story without any proof the lightposts even have transmitters (something that would be extremely easy to do... just open one up lol). So some miscarriages, nosebleeds, and insomnia started when the lightposts were installed. The term "correlation doesn't mean causation" is commonly said for a reason. There could be many explanations for these events and it could even just be coincidence.

You might say how could I know? I'd ask how do YOU know? I'm saying I don't know and neither do you. Speculation is one thing, but concrete evidence is another. You cannot fear monger like this unless you have the evidence to back it up, which from what I can tell the evidence is shaky at best. Saying "I don't know if X is dangerous" is completely different than saying it IS dangerous and that's exactly what these companies have said: They don't know if it is dangerous or not. We can't even decide if fucking eggs are bad for you or not (the consensus changes nearly every 5 years) so please don't immediately assume it's literal genocide because some scientists don't know.

Is 5g bad? I have no clue, but I seriously think you're jumping to a lot of conclusions based on pure speculation. Could it have adverse effects? Sure, but calling it a literal genocide? Get out of here with that.

I have read the opinions of quite a few scientists and one inventor in the field and they all say that 5G is cancer-causing. When it was tested in Amsterdam a week ago, it killed a few hundred birds. The city of Brussels has stopped the rollout of 5G in that city because of health concerns. I used to work with microwave and know what even the older generations can do. I am not automatically assuming anything.

Again, please show me evidence of it. I have no problem agreeing with something that actually has proof.

https://takebackyourpower.net/brussels- Several studies are listed here with links.

Better if you do a search for < 5G danger > and you'll find a lot on it.

You may have a 5G router blinking on your desk but it has no connection to the 5G that can inflict pain and kill. The names are the same to confuse you. Also, ask yourself why Israel is NOT opting for 5G when it is being rolled out in the US, Europe, and Japan. For the record, I know that it means Fifth Generation but I was editorializing when I said "5 Genocide." On other social media there are shills who have a dog in this fight. They insist 5G is harmless while some scientists warn us it is not. Why has it been rolled out without any foreknowledge?

So, the actual letter that that paper is based off of is actually calling for more testing to be done. The article itself makes it out like scientists are saying it is dangerous when they're saying (what I'm saying) that we don't know. The main risk seems to be that 5G implementation will result in chronic exposure to "Class 2B human carcinogens". Now that sounds scary, lets look up what that actually means:

The agent (mixture) is "possibly carcinogenic to humans". The exposure circumstance entails exposures that are possibly carcinogenic to humans.

Key word there, possibly. If we take a gander at the list of Class 2B Carcinogens, we find even more confusion:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_IARC_Group_2B_carcinogens

Now we have things on this list that are pretty well known to be carcinogenic, like carbon nanotubes. Yet, after taking a closer look we find things such as Uracil mustard (which is ironically used in chemotherapy), Kava extract (a natural drink consumed by millions with seemingly no adverse effects), and our very own EMF field (cellphone frequencies such as 4G) which has been in use for decades. Huh, seems like this list is near meaningless and tells us literally nothing. Please, look at various items. Certain things are most definitely harmful, like DDT. Then there's stuff like Nickel and a chemical found in literally all plants. So if this list is used as proof of something being carcinogenic, then every single plant on earth is carcinogenic.

So what does this letter and by extension your article tell us? Exactly what I've been saying this entire time: We don't know.

Again, this is blatant fear mongering in my eyes. Go ahead and look into it yourself. All of these articles are speculation, which is what I'm trying to get across!

So they shouldn't implement it until they know.

The link I sent you has several studies linked inside. Since 5G was rolled out without any announcements there is good reason to be alarmed. The reason there have been no studies, is because the equipment was kept secret until it suddenly started appearing all over the country. If I am fear mongering then a lot of other people are doing it.

[–]JasonCarswell 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

G stands for Generation. Fifth generation.

There are plenty of problems already with 4G. Well documented.

Also, everything from WiFi to florescent lights are proven to affect children in schools, not to mention radio towers on top of them.

But if they/we never test we can never know.

You're putting a lot of faith in a government that is perpetually killing thousands weekly.

[–]Zombi 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I put a lot of faith in a technology that has been around for decades now and hasn't had any adverse effects on people due to anything related to the network. People have been saying cellphones cause cancer for just as long, yet here we are. Many, many times we've had this conversation, yet somehow I'm gullible.

[–]BoyNoWonder 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Are you concerned that this specific technology (the way it is being implemented) hasn't actually been around for decades? Cellular tech, sure, but not millimeter band types. Or that this wavelength range can cause noticeable pain when concentrated and directed at a person? These things give me pause, if anything.

I would have preferred numerous, elaborate studies on the potential health effects PRIOR to implementation. As well as human trials at the homes of the executives of cellular companies and any politicians supporting the immediate implementation. That only seems fair.

[–]Zombi 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Would I like to see testing done? Absolutely.

Do I feel we should immediately jump to the conclusion that the government is going to use it to target individuals? Absolutely not.

I think we should say we don't know and stop right there. It's all the extra "stuff" attached to "why don't they have more tests done" that irks me.

[–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I have faith that my toaster oven won't kill me. But if I find out there are military uses for it as there are proven 5G weaponization uses I might reconsider. The fact that they refuse to do sufficient tests is VERY troubling and the community towers have secret proprietary designs that may include a weapon mode or whatever...

Isreal was just "testing" their sound canons on Palestinians. The US is in bed and protective of Israel. When A.I. takes all our jobs there will be WAAAAAY more have nots.

We need to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

[–]Zombi 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

First of all the weapon in question is more powerful and focused than the frequencies used in the 5G network with 95GHz at what appears to be a single target. The 5G network has a range of 6GHz - 86GHz, which is a noticeable 9GHz less than the military grade weapon.

So we're talking about a stronger, focused beam being directly targeted at an individual versus a weaker, spread out beam. They also note that the beam makes you "Feel as if your whole body is on fire." While adding that it is not lethal, but very unpleasant. You think they would really roll something like this out if it caused you to feel immense discomfort? To hundreds of millions of people?

So I really think we're jumping the gun here in terms of how lethal it is. It's like saying that the rain is dangerous because there's high powered hoses out there that can slice right through you with the same amount of water. One is completely safe (minus the whole flooding thing lol) and the other is used to cut steel, yet both use the same amount of water.

Once further evidence shows that 5G when used as a cellphone service is harmful then I'll bend, but again all there is on the matter is pure speculation. I don't buy into speculation and I'm not even arguing it's safe. I'm saying we don't know.

Call for further tests, that's completely reasonable. Calling it genocide and saying the government is weaponizing it and they're testing it out in lamp posts in england is going completely off the deep end IMO. Making comparisons between two completely different applications of the same thing is NOT evidence, it's pure speculation. I'm all for new technology being tested for safety, I'm not for fear mongering and paranoia.

the belgians are def not to be trusted. they have great beer and have awesome chocolate. i say they have it too good. suspiciously so.

They stole the secrets of chocolate making from Mr. William Wonka, who they subsequently murdered.

Giant pineapples are the best fruit, hidden from the watchful eyes of the pink lemur by the Austrians.

You've never heard of him, save in a work of "fiction", because that was the Belgians behind the scenes controlling the narrative, erasing all evidence of his existence from historical records and, because they knew it wasn't completely possible, wrote an incredibly fictionalised narrative describing a wholly unbelievable series of events, in an attempt to discredit all remaining records of Wonka's success. Roald Dahl was secretly Belgian. It's all a lie. IT'S ALL A LIE!
