I wish everyone would just torrent and if they want paid, mention a way to do it at the end of the video.

The bay works better than all these janky websites.

There needs to be a web interface for it to gain wide traction; that's simply how it is. Even if torrenting became more popular, simply announcing your Patreon or what have is much less effective if you can't put a link in a description or pinned comment below the video. Thus it becomes less attractive to content creators. You can provide a .url or readme file in the torrent, but I don't think many people will click those either.

Torrents are useful for some things, but not sharing streaming videos. I think Odysee is better for this purpose as OP said.

its good for games, movies, manga and alike, but not streaming videos.
