This is nothing but an ad for an expensive dongle that nobody wants.

It doesn't look very attractive when you consider the low specs, especially the 1 GB RAM. For that money you'd hope for a bit more. But it's good for beginners considering that the package includes everything, including a microSD card with the OS preinstalled.

Yeah they're pushing the hardware too hard, but the software might be a perfect fit for someone.

That doesn't make any sense. It's like saying, "Well, that car they just bought is a piece of shit but I'm sure the paint on it is a perfect fit for them."

You don't have to buy the damn hardware. This is an easy open source app for non-technical people to do some home serving.

Nope, that's commercial private software. This is commie open source code which means many eyes are on it.

So, which is it? Open Source? Private Commercial Software? Do you know what you're talking about? Are you even telling the truth about any of this? Could it be you're just a digital Snake Oil Salesman?

We're clearly miscommunicating. Spend 5 minutes reading on the freedombox site if you want to know more. There are similar projects too like pirateBox. Have a good one.

I'm not impressed. The page is excruciatingly amateur, like it was created by a 12 year old. I didn't click on any of the links because the whole page looks like a more complicated version of the old late 90s, early 2000s version of an East African Ransome ware page so, like they used to say on 4chan, "I ain't clickin' dat shit, nigga!"
