I'll just list some notes about it.

1. You get POC tokens if you get 4 or 5 stars on your post. These add up over time.
2. It's decentralized. The originators have their own servers but users can also run their own server.
3. Use a Windows or Linux app to access it, or use a browser and go to https://pocketnet.app. The app will work though even if the web page is down.
4. They must have 10,000 users by now.
5. It's a bit conservative. Not for people who just want to go there and fling poo.
6. Admins do not ban people, the users votes decide what happens.
7. Free speech means the gov't cannot arrest you for what you say, that doesn't mean you get to crap in someone's living room. There are some basic rules, like no threats or violent content, the standard stuff.
8. Porn must be marked NSFW or you get dinged.
9. Make rational arguments or people tend to vote you down. Up and down votes on posts add to or subtract from your "reputation". If your reputation goes too low this limits your postings.
10. You have an "All posts" feed where you see all posts in the most recent first order. You have "My feed" where you only see posts from people you follow.
11. No formatting options unless you write an "article".
12. Devs are pretty responsive to inqueries.
13. Use chat bar on right side for help.
14. You can block users if you want.
15. Content hosted on a block chain. Main posts are hosted on the blockchain, it's not clear if comments, images, and videos are or not.
16. Comments can also get up or down votes, and affect your "reputation".
17. If you host a server (which they call a "node") you will get several monthly POC amounts added to your account, like 100 per month for a max of about 400 or so. I don't remember the exact amounts.
