Stop a bad nosebleed with cornstarch

That's why there's all this white powder around my nose, officer.

I was going to get a coagulant powder but figured I'd try applying some corn starch since I have that on hand. Worked like a charm.

I know, not much of a post, but it's a handy tip.

You can also put a bit around your testicles instead of talcum powder to keep those nether regions dry in the record heat.

I have tried using it under my arms as an alternative to antiperspirant. It wasa while ago but "gloopy" comes to mind.

That tip comes from Ken Kesey, via one of his books. I think the key is a light coating or you'll be making hush puppies.

Cornstarch batter is tasty, it's light and crispy. Supposedly even adding a little to flour batters helps make their airier.

I have taters too.... Hmm.

During the shortages that might be coming up, you could keep something cooking down there all the time for when you meet hungry people. Onion rings might be worth experimenting with. 😜
