Hugs are nice.
I don't think things are insane yet, though certainly very irrational. Perhaps it's just semantics, but I think the worst is yet to come, and then we can discuss insanity via desperation.
I think I saw the same videos. They fill me with more rage than my own father's death, away from my eyes. It will get worse, because it won't simply be "euthanizing" the demented. I use quotes because a truly compassionate end would not include hours or days or longer of suffering till death.
