Shooter is Matthew Dolloff. Registered democrat, berniebro, involved in the occupy movement. Was a farmer so likely more anarchist than marxist. No confirmation he was antifa.

The 9News guys were going through the group starting confrontations so they could take pictures. Apparently they even threatened to rape the women at one point to get a reaction. At the end when everyone was trying to leave for some reason Dolloff tried to grab a guy's mace and got himself slapped. It also seems unlikely that a skinny farmer and events organiser who is the son of two dentists and seems pretty comfortably off would take up security work as his side hussle. 9News put out that he was with Pinkerton but there's no other confirmation.
