    Great flag!

If you aligned the gears vertically instead of horizontally you'd illustrate the hierarchy, though we could debate who's on top: owners or state. Or you could arrange them as an inverted pyramid with owners and state sharing the top. Or you could just have a normal pyramid to simply illustrate the establishment.

"Class cooperation" seems like an oxymoron, and thus "corporatism" seems like wishful thinking along the lines of the ideals of a balanced and fair socialist society, a free market, or the freedom of no rulers. I'm not saying we shouldn't have these extremist ideal abstract forms, but we need to recognize that they are only pipe dreams and reality requires a middle balance that never rests.

Without safeguards hierarchy is a weapon and, strict or not, I hate abuses of hierarchy yet recognize it has utility for good, bad, and everything between.

Since the Workers, Owners, and State are interlocked, shouldn't the gears be too?

Is there a reason behind the 8 spokes? (ie. compass points, Buddhism, etc.) 5 or 7 would be like law enforcement, and 6 would be like the Jewish Star Of David.

        I didn't say impossible.

It's fundamentally inherent that owners own to exploit, among other things.
It's fundamentally inherent that governments control own to exploit, among other things.

I understand corporatism is none of those. That's why I contrasted them. It's also given me more food for thought. The typical political compass has the left right and totalitarian and anarchist/voluntaryist poles. But, assuming such a corporatist balance were theoretically possible, what if there was also cooperativist and/or corporatist poles too somehow?

Each gear tooth is 45 degrees from each other, so I take it you rotated the center gear 22.5 degrees (either direction) and tried to move the flanking gears inward to interlock (loosely obviously).

I could find or design you a gear that could inter-fit better, and even be animated. If you're interested let me know, and keep reminding me. I'll be busy for a few weeks working on new developments, but I'll likely need a break now and then.
