As much as I like the image it doesn't seem like it's aged well. A newspaper and a rabbit ear tv? I can't remember the last time I've seen anyone with a newspaper let alone actually opening it and reading it.
Agreed, yet it still works because people get it - and because the MSM is old-fashioned fearporn propaganda. It's hard to have an iconic symbol for a new aggregation site without simply using their logo. My boomer parents still get the paper, well meaning and in the dark.
