European countries only began vaccinating their 5-11 year-olds from December 2021, so most of the after period doesn't align with vaccinations in the age group considered.

It does align with lockdown. I haven't looked at the causes of deaths, but it looks like the data shows that you get fewer road deaths and skateboarding/pedal cycling/tree climbing/drowning deaths in children inside that home than outside it.

Week 22 of 2021 was the week starting May 31.

The Covid vaccine was approved rolled out for 5-11 year olds from December 2021. No CoVID vaccine has been approved for under 5 years olds in Europe yet.
