I don't believe the data in the spreadsheet.

826 deaths of doctors including retired ones, as some of the deaths were at an age of over 100, and including ones that have not yet graduated, as the youngest's obituary sadly mentions that his sister will pick up his degree on his behalf https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/kamloops-bc/joshua-yoneda-10757159

Canada has something like 86,000 practising physicians. Ignoring retired and residents, if they live 80 years they should be dying at about 1000 per year, but this spreadsheet has only 826 deaths over 3 years. Even taking into account that the population of Canada is growing, and so the number of physicians must be growing too, I don't think this is a complete data set.

What's the source?

Literally 1st line of the article: “The Canadian Medical Association (CMA) data for 2020”

Right. And I googled that. And I can't find the data.

Can you?

Interesting. No. This is all I could find: Physician Data Centre | CMA https://www.cma.ca/physician-data-centre CMA 2021 National Physician Health Survey Prepared for the Canadian Medical Association August 24, 2022 https://www.cma.ca/sites/default/files/2022-08/NPHS_final_report_EN.pdf
