In this case, an anti-parasitic (Ivermectin) acts as a protease. Ivermectin has been called "horse paste" by virtue signalers to discredit anyone hopeful of initial reports that it works to fight SARS-CoV-2. Pfizer has been running studies of their therapeutic drug that uses Ivermectin and it seems to be effective.

edit: It's not Ivermectin, although there are studies that indicate Ivermectin acts as a protease inhibitor.

What?

The Pfizer theraputic drug does fucking not use Ivermectin. It's not even structurally similar.

You are correct. I was wrong. When the news about Pfizer's drug cam out in March, there was talk that the protease was Ivermectin. I was wrong in not following up on that.
