Put on a pandemic mask then stand a few inches from a clean mirror.

Now try your best to spit saliva through the mask.

Simulate sneezing by yelling atttchoooo!!

Now inspect the mirror.

Did saliva droplets pass through the mask and get onto the mirror?

Now remove the mask and do the same spitting and sneezing at the mirror as before.

Notice the difference?
