They just love it when an anti-vaxxer dies but they ignore it when a fully vaxxed patient dies.

I don't celebrate the deaths of these poor anti-vaxxers.

The campaign against them is well resourced. It is known from the work done in encouraging people to smoke and deployed in encouraging people to resist acting on climate change that there are techniques that will manipulate a person's beliefs against evidence.

First you make it political. It's them and us, and all those "facts" are "them" lying. People are extremely resistant to evidence if they have their in group that has a belief and an out-group that doesn't.

Then you tell the stories over and over again. Social media makes this possible with minimal effort.

People are going to fall for it, and some of them will die. It's sad, and their deaths probably aren't even the goal of the Internet Research Agency. Their goals are protests, as violent as possible, and extension of the economic impact of the pandemic on the USA and allies.

But these deaths are happening. Now almost all amongst the unvaccinated. People should know.
