Marketing is all the media knows. Big Pharma is approximately all advertising spending now, judging by the few ads I see.

Rebranding the virus as a new, hot threat (now with more cases!) directly monetarily benefits news agencies. Good thing that isn't a conflict of interest.

Indeed!

Typically I like to avoid the speculative woo, but it's not just about me - it's about the ruling class who often employ their occult symbology whether they actually buy into it or not, so I like being aware of some of their fringe symbolic stuff, even if I don't go deep into it.

Ultimately, I was just wondering why they were focusing so much on the Delta variant specifically.

They want to bring about "change".
