There was a significant amount (>10%) of seropositivity among lantinis in the autumn of 2019.

SARS-CoV-2 RBD-specific antibodies were detected in 111 of 959 (11.6%) individuals, starting from September 2019 (14%), with a cluster of positive cases (>30%) in the second week of February 2020 and the highest number (53.2%) in Lombardy. This study shows an unexpected very early circulation of SARS-CoV-2 among asymptomatic individuals in Italy several months before the first patient was identified

And given that nobody knows the actual structure and DNA sequence of the virus, who knows WTF these antibodies were actually related to.

It's a single strand RNA virus. I think it was sequenced around January 2020 plus or minus a month. Many structural models exist using numerical computing.

It seems like these antibodies react specifically to a the spike protein where it binds to the angiotensin receptor.

The SARS2 was also sampled in sewer samples in southern France somewhat earlier that year. (I think it was Marseille---which is not far from Italy).

Where's that post about the 79 top universities in the world having no report whatsoever about the isolation or sequencing of this alleged virus?

I never heard about this. But pretty much anyone can get this new SARS if they really want it.

Ah, so the DNA sequence is available, but nobody ever isolated it or sequenced it. Not strange at all.
