Science trumps luck everytime. Antivaxers are the only ones who need luck. Well, them and their elderly and immunocompromised loved ones, at least.

Not in this particular case.

Luck might be better, because this is a massive human experiment, and nobody (supposedly) knows what will happen.

It's not approved as safe.

It's approved for emergency use, because of the alleged pandemic.

We're in the human experiment portion of the drug trial.

Animal testing was skipped. It was never conducted, so let's cross our fingers and hope it works out.

We need plenty of luck.

Also, science requires open debate, and peer review of data/evidence.

Reproducable experimentation, which match observation in the real world.
