Nope. Not until BitChute and others offer proper download options. At least with YT people can use addons and/or YouTube-DLG. Somehow BitChute changed it so YouTube-DLG doesn't work there now.

Lbry has a download button, next to the report button. Corbett Report has a 'download the MP4' button, which takes one directly to the video, and then all one has to do is right click the video and select the 'Save Video As...' button to download it.

True enough. I used to actually include all the alternative links. At some point I fell out of that habit and figured no one gave a shit. For you, I can resume that.

Besides still being a convenient central hub (I am guilty of laziness) still allowing most of my content to exist there, under unfair duress, I have a legit good reason to still use YouTube. I need to play my videos at more than just 2x speed. I can watch 2-4x the content in the same time to digest and learn that much more, faster.

I'm not helping Google. I'm not helping the corporatocracy. Yes, they exist and I can't escape them as much as I'd like too. I'd also like to ethically be vegan but I can't afford it. Reality is harsh.

Also, any alt-media who doesn't allow downloads or provide functional bit/web torrenting (I'm fucking looking at you BitChute), IMO is not 100% legit. We need to be able to archive content, and maybe even one day host our own decentralized servers with all that content, ideally using IPFS and being rewarded with FileCoin.
