When the video of the spinning pigeon appears someone says, "Pavlovian" but it should be, "Skinnerian." Psychologist BF Skinner worked with pigeons a lot and during WWII even worked on a pigeon-guided bomb for the US military but this is not important to the narrative. Another great video from Mr. Corbett.

I haven't watched this yet, but I've been thinking about this topic in terms of how they could use it to cancel the election in November, which was already pulled off in NY. Thereby establishing precedent for dynastic authoritarianism, Because Virus.

In this video they don't discuss cancelling the election but I have been thinking about the possibility and assume that it will be tried at least. Also something that is key at a time like this is how the police and National Guard (and the Guard surely will be activated at some point) will react. Will they refuse to enforce harsh measures against the people? Not yet, but maybe during the next wave. I am a bit pessimistic though because jobs.

Yes, if history has taught us anything, there is always a faction of the population that either

• needs a job badly enough

• is terrified enough into self-preservation mode that they make "friends" with the tyrant force by ingratiating themselves by any means

• can't wait to indulge their violent, hateful, desire to dominate via state-sanctioned systems

and though I love to imagine that would not be the case this time, it might take some kind of unprecedented miracle for everyone to stay opposed to tyranny and authoritarianism together as one. Please, universe, make me wrong!
