Cooking steak at home is not too expensive, but have you seen the prices at the steakhouses? It costs my wife and I over $60 the last time we went, and that's a place you can wear jeans and a t-shirt.

It's not like we can't do it, just things we'd rather spend the money on. If rent jumps 40% though, food vs. a place to live will be a real issue. We didn't increase our food budget as things went up, we changed our spending habits instead. I enjoy trying to make good food on the cheap. I loved r/eatcheapandhealthy till they banned me, I don't remember exactly why but at first I thought the mod was just kidding with me about a ban.

Ha. You got banned from a frugal food sub?

I think rent has topped out, or is close to it. I also think house prices will start falling soon.

Oh yeah, I remember the reason. I was writing about how I dislike the instapot. I think instapot pays to advertise there, or did.
