Maybe it's just my area, and that we don't have a high concentration of Eastern Euros here, but you can't find poppyseeds in bulk anywhere in person without spending a fortune. They're available in those tiny $5 herb jars, but that's not enough to make fillings for pastries. I found a place online where I can purchase them in bulk, a pound for $7.99 for the Spanish variety. I picked up a pound of pepitas to season up and use for snacks too, I think for $8? Anyway, it's Nuts.com. I'll report back on quality when I get the shipment in.
