Imgur messed up the photo order a little but it's good enough. I had some leftover shredded chicken and onions from enchiladas so I added bacon and shredded cheese, and baked that inside a basic dough. It's a misnomer but they call those kolaches here.

Sometimes the dough is allowed to rise so it's like a filling inside a roll, but this dough was cold and it's cold in my kitchen, so they were just shells more like hot pockets.

Hmm, what else... the dough is worked on a surface liberally coated with malted barley flour, it is easily cut with a pizza slicer, you don't need any fancy gadgets. I put the fillings in the rolled out dough, fold it over, cut off the excess and make sure the ends of the kolaches are sealed.

I baked them at 450F for 18 minutes. A egg yolk wash gives them a nice color if you want to bother with that.
