A lot of libertarians would actually proud call themselves collectivists but isn't too much individualism in opposition to collectivism? How can you hold people accountable about their responsibilities with the nation, when their freedom is the highest value?
I see such views as too utopian, education should teach people what their role in society should be, and religion should dominate the values of society, in order to do solve a lot of these philosophical issues. I'm sure this contradiction in libertarianism has been exploited by the ruling groups, since they have sold libertarianism as the ideal solution for a long time.
