Reality can be contradicting when seen by simple eyes and we need to use all the tools at our disposal to better understand it. Science is a good method we can use to understand reality. It even teaches that it can't downright fully explain reality it just creates theories using empirical knowledge but It's a good tool regardless. Some people have created a cult-like interpretation of the same. But a true scientist wouldn't say that things like magic don't exist with confidence but rather, there is not enough knowledge like to say that magic exists or not with what we can observe.

It has even been attacked by the people in power. I'm sure there is a lot of potential in science if it is used in the right way.

A lot of people assume that since everything is a power game it is natural for there to be corruption out there, It's a very unhealthy way of seeing politics. The truth is that no matter how small if someone commits a crime then they should be punished for it even if that involves the royalty...

People's apathy towards the corruption out there has given too much power to the money oligarchies nowadays and it will be incredibly difficult to get rid of them at this point...
