Exactly. All the worst secrets of the world are really "open secrets" in that anyone dedicated enough can find them out. Anyone acting with supreme power leaves enough ripples that they can always be detected. If they aren't detectable, then they weren't really that powerful.

So I think we, and journalists, need to just highlight known facts. There's little reason to step too far in to the world of speculation, because the truth that's already available is damning enough.

It almost seems like the problem in society isn't the lack of seeing problems clearly, but rather the lack of the masses being able to align to do anything about it.

    The first chapter he talks about the promoted elite role of "celebrity" (false idols), including limited hangouts like Daniel Ellsberg who help sheepdog the "official" narrative, while truther folks like Douglas Valentine will be dealt with Dynamic Silence where they are ignored, made to seem crazy, only publish negative things, smeared, etc.
