As someone who moved to Mexico, I wish more people would take this seriously, rather than be like "Oh well, they have only increased the death rate by 40-50% so far, so false alarm, nothing to see here". It seems people will cling to their sense of normalcy no matter what.

No idea. I live in Chihuahua State. It is good in certain ways, but we need a bigger community here.

This is my view as well. If there is a place that feels more safe than the one you're currently in, you should be making plans to move there (or at least have a contingency plan) not putting it off because things aren't immediately dire.
