    The militias dont matter. They cant do anything. The military is not nearly as strong as people think it is. Big tech is the clincher.

    That's what I said. The military is at the mercy of tech companies, no matter how many stop-gaps they have in place.

    And if these militias think they're going to all the sudden go toe-to-toe with helicopter gunships because they have a few .223s, they're wrong.

    What do the tech companies have that the military/militias don't that make them a worse foe?

    Complete control, or at least a back door into all software that the military uses for communications. The military has an ENORMOUS budget however, and spends a lot to prevent this. But, the name of the game is intelligence, and international trade of technologies makes it a constant struggle for corporations; much more so for militaries around the world.
