Area 5150 Demo @ Evoke 2022. IBM PC 5150 with 4.77MHz Intel 8088 CPU and CGA. "no composite tricks" TTL CGA only. It starts by doing a 640x200 image at 16 colors on a graphics card that can only do two colors at that resolution and only gets better. 640kb is enough for everyone.

Computer scientists tell the parable of the Paperclip Maximizer as a sort of cross between the Sorcerer’s Apprentice and the Matrix; a reminder of why it’s crucially important to tell your system not just what its goals are, but how it should balance those goals against costs.

Bitcoin Mining on the Commodore 64? Can we strike it rich using "Bitcoin Miner 64" by YTM/Elysium on the C64? We'll even pull out the SuperCPU 20MHz 65816 processor upgrade to see if it helps. Additionally we'll set up a serial link from the C64 to a Windows 10 laptop to transfer a block to solve.
