It wasn't the origin of how I came up with my idea of communism; I was independently inspired, mostly by the free software movement, and found that "anarcho-communism", as defined on Wikipedia, seemed to describe it best. This seems to talk about the origin of Marxism.

Yes, marxism was largely created by Jews but also many atheists.
