He is best known for his graphical works on Chinese philosophy and history, most notably the philosophers Laozi, Liezi, and Zhuangzi, which he made accessible and popularized through the use of plain language and visual aid of cartoon graphics. Many of his earlier four paneled works contain elements of political satire and those which are purely comical such as his well-known work, The Drunken Swordsman (大醉俠).

The books of Tsai Chih Chung have been very well received by the public in both Taiwan and mainland China. They have subsequently been translated into dozens of languages including English. He currently resides in Taiwan and Hangzhou, China.

lol, first -reading the title- ithought it was about a mix of Tai Chi and Chi Gong ,but this is very interesting dude, i Love Humor and like Taoism, and never thought about a using it as comedy/cartoon, and it can work amazing good because like Lao Tse and Taoism say- stay like a child...or something ( i understand the concept, but its hard to explain in Englihs or words for me....hard hehe) but acting like a adult creating a EGo etc feeling better then others telling teenagers to GROW UP etc, so basicly beig judgmental al the time and think your a Adult/Grown-up while your the biggest child basicly, but thats why i dont like to be TO serious- not all the time atleast- stay a bit a child with Humor and dont be to fucking serious all the time and respect others,,,but im drifting away maybe...i wanne look into this dude, does he have comic strips or some? very cool, i gonne check out the links above

the last book/link "The Harmony of Nature" is it only tekst or also pictures like in comicbooks ? i dont really undertand if its comicstrips like or just tekst jokes about qoutes from Taoism or Confusciuism...ahh fack thats wrong but i dont like Confusious anyway, he`s a copycat
