Louis Riel is a great graphic novel about the 1800's Métis rebel leader of the Red River Rebellion with his 'half-breed' White/Indian people who founded the small square 'postage stamp province' of early Manitoba, Canada. After growing crazy, he later mounted a second rebellion that got him hanged.
