Not least because if you bombed Jerusalem every jihadist would be chasing you down until the day you died for attacking their holy sites.

If you think Israel is why the middle east is not at peace then you have zero knowledge of the middle east.

The Saudi royal family basically started as ISIS did but in the 19th century. These people were killing each other long before Israel was created.

Who gives a fuck about the Saudis except for US ? Just let them starve in the desert they live in.#

War in Jemen and Caucasus instantly could end if you cut off the Saudis from international support. Russia and Iran are already undercutting their oil-price and let's be honest: What more do they have to export?

You're the one who said you wanted peace.

i remember from cnn(iirc) in the 90's that isis is isreali state intelligence services.

edit: forgot to add, the acronym was changed likely to take the focus off the real threat

Just drop this simple bomb and the whole middle-east soon will be at peace.

The amount of money it would take for U.S. (and any allies) to reinforce the crater would start an economic depression, the likes of which would make the 1930's look like a joke. Other nations won't leave that patch of land empty.

Despite how you feel about the people living there it's still of immense strategic value. Abandoning it isn't an option in the current global climate.

I most surely would have a job. You need geodetics to direct artillery and correctly do your maps and you need geodetics to build anything.

So i'd really appreciate it. :)

And who gives a fuck about some country nobody in this region wanted in this first place? I always told the simple story that construction in fact always is an easy job.

And I've got a nice sized farm for myself. That doesn't stop a chunk of the global economy getting hit by a shock wave. Specifically the U.S. The amount of money and lives required to hold that location would be expensive. Instead of a tossing a few million to them, the occasional trainer to teach them stuff, and letting them deal with it themselves, America would have to reinforce the position mostly alone.

who gives a fuck about some country nobody in this region wanted in this first place?

A lot of crazy people want that place. Doesn't make much sense to me either, but they do. Religion and money go hand in hand.
