isnt that what ALL pride parades are about

Good point. I guess it's about "look at me, I'm special because of this one characteristic."

Also the feeling of "I can put this characteristic on display without being murdered finally" which is a self-acceptance and conquering fear thing

If that were the case they wouldn't put it on display because of the lingering fear of getting murdered.

People who at some point actually expected to be murdered or suffer physical harm would remember it and wouldn't expect the people who would have threatened them to magically change.

Nah it's like in The Wizard of Oz, "Ding dong the witch is dead" and everyone is dancing in celebration that they're finally free

Are u telling me that pride parades is something people have to celebrate having killed someone?

No I'm telling you it's something people do because the danger has been removed.

That's what happens in the movie, Dorothy kills the witch. There has been a long long time since it was illegal to be gay, and the people that actually had to deal with that law are generally not the ones on the parade. So they certainly not celebrating the danger is gone for the majority of people who do parades didn't have that danger upon them.

I think this explains it:

Think about it how long this has been out.
