It's clear that in order to save the planet we need to enact super tough regulations, so that all dirty industries offshore to China and Africa where the true stewards of the environment dwell.

I saw this show a while back and laughed at their explanation.

My theory is that they're committing suicide because they lost their fingers during the last Global glacial period, and they can no longer climb down the cliffs.
