Epistle of James was speaking to Paul I think

After Jesus died his brother James led the community. It wasn't a new religion yet, James believed in following all the Jewish rules like circumcision. Paul tried to preach to gentiles but wanted to have them not follow all those rules, just have faith. This is explained in the epistle to the Galatians. This epistle of James is mainly about sins. Just like the Torah.

True I don't know it for sure, I mean we don't know a lot of things for sure, some historians say it wasn't really written by them. But just going by the context, we know they were at odds, we know the incident at Antioch, we know the Jews rise up at were destroyed by Roman's shortly after this, we know Christian's were persecuted but eventually took over the Roman Empire after.

Yeah but he would have preferred people worship him and not have it have anything to Do with Jesus. The Christians wouldn't give up.

Emperors fail to extinguish followers of the way despite hundreds of years of mass slaughter and torture. Pagan Emperor attempts to take over leadership and become limited hangout. Followers of the way who resist are persecuted and murdered for centuries and centuries. “UNRELATED”.
