This kind of thing is why I say that Pope Francis is a good person. A surprising number of vocal people think he's not, but I think that's the vocal minority considering that Catholicism is the second biggest religious denomination in the world.

I mean, he does advocate for the LGBT. And though we know that salvation is through faith, our faith is supposed to compel us to act in accordance with God's laws. Including those is the Old Testament.

The Pope advocating that it is acceptable for men to lie with men is the Pope advocating for people to not walk in the ways of the Lord.

It is falsehood. A lie from the mouth of the serpent to seduce men and women away from the Lord.

? Are you talking about Leviticus, which is probably talking about child abuse? Or are you talking about St. Paul's letters, which were also probably on the same topic (though it's more ambiguous) but, regardless, defer to Jesus' teachings to love thy neighbour?

How can loving people ever be a sin, when Jesus taught it?

Edit: Ooh, comic!
