Again, I tend to agree with you, I think there is a high probability we do in fact live in a simulation, but I don't think I completely follow what you are saying here.

Ok, but even if we are in a simulation, this infers the existence of a non-simulated reality somewhere right? Or else there could be no simulation.

Otherwise nothing objective and forced upon us could exist.

So now you are talking about a non-simulated reality, one you say must have certain conditions. So I think I am not understanding what you mean by 'they are all simulations', because this is what I meant by a 'base reality' - one which is not a simulation but that the simulations may exist in (in which case the problem of where this 'real' non-objective reality came from would still be present - it is something and can't have come from nothing).

I am also very curious about this non-objectivity requirement. What is it about 'reality' that means it must have this property? The 'base reality' being completely subjective might be the case, quantum physics shows us some interesting properties about observers and our current reality, but you are very adamant about this, and I don't think I completely understand your rationale here, or how you are getting from A to Z

Again, I don't think I follow. It sounds like you have assumptions about the nature of what a non-simulated reality must necessarily be like. Are you suggesting we would not need caloric sustenance for energy and exert some sort of sovereign control that prevents force/coercion in a non-simulated reality? If so, what is it about the nature of non-simulated reality that makes this so? I like the sound of that, but what makes you think that this is the case?

You seem very strong in your convictions about this, I just want to understand what makes you so confident in your beliefs about the nature of reality

It's only logical. The only way around it is the idea that we're all one collective consciousness, which I consider socialist bs and intentionally engineered to keep us easy to subject.

And judging by the nature of its world, if the collective consciousness is real it must really hate itself. Far more likely that sadist archons are running it.
