What do you attribute this to? The fatality rate of this virus is not much higher than the flu, at least in every country that isn't China.

The one factor that might explain this is the longer more severe lockdowns might have reduced their natural immunity more than other places, but this still doesn't seem like the result of opening back up would be anywhere the severity you are reporting. Do you think there is a chance this is simply anti-China propaganda at a time when we like making them look bad? We criticized their severe lockdowns after doing largely the same thing. There were also photos from the beginning of the pandemic with dead chinamen lying all over the streets that are now known to have been staged propaganda.

What we know about the fatality rate of Covid does not explain why we have these reports of mass fatalites coming from China, this virus simply isn't deadly enough to be responsible for that on its own without other factors being involved. There is either much more to this story, or absolutely nothing to it. What are your thoughts regarding the context of these reports?
